Special-stage start
Each driver must place their stationary car on the start line, set back from the electronic detection system.
The start takes place only on the acoustic signal following the system countdown: 5-4-3-2-1-go.
Starting before the signal is prohibited.
An early start may prevent the RFID transponder from being detected correctly.
In this case, the assigned stage time will be applied.
A start delayed by a few seconds will not be penalised, as timing begins only when the car passes beneath the detection antenna.
The special-stage time is recorded automatically by the electronic timing system.
Mechanical failures
The driver may carry out repairs during the stage.
Under 15 drivers may receive assistance along the course.
The car must still cross the finish line under its own power.
Assigned time
The assigned time is twice the fastest time recorded on the special stage.
Each competitor may receive it no more than twice.
After a third unfinished stage, the driver may continue but will not be classified.
Service
Repairs are permitted before and after each special stage.
After practice has ended, any testing must take place away from the race course.
Penalties
- Course cutting: 10 seconds
- Deliberately touching the car with the feet: 5 seconds
- Contact with the finish structure or timekeeper: 10 seconds
- Unsporting conduct: 30 seconds
If the car leaves the course, it may be repositioned only at the point where it left.
Only the driver may touch the car during a special stage.
Final classification
The final classification is calculated by adding together each competitor's times from all completed special stages.
Any penalties and assigned times provided for in these rules are added to the total time.
The competitor with the lowest total time wins.
The following classifications will be produced at the end of the race:
- Overall standings
- OPEN 4WD category standings
- OPEN 2WD category standings
- STOCK category standings
- Under 15 standings
- Over 50 standings
Ties
